Yin-JYin-J (Burmese: ယဉ်ဂျေး) derives its name from the Burmese word ယဉ်ကျေးမှု /jɪ̀ɴ.tɕe.m̥ú/ which means “culture.” Fun fact: Many people like to tell us that our Burmese name is misspelled, but it’s actually our branding! At Yin-J, we specialize in cultural consultation and bridging the gaps created by unseen and unnoticed cultural differences and false presumptions that all humans make when surrounded by another culture.
Yin-J started as a consulting and tuition business in 2020. We were a registered company limited in Myanmar with a physical office address and all the bells and whistles to go with it! After some disruption, a phoenix rose from Yin-J’s ashes in 2026. We’re the same people — along with some new ones — carrying on the name and legacy! Yin-J strives to bring quality online/remote educational content to eager young and “young at heart” learners from Burma.
